Genuine gold metal beaten incredibly finely to form gossamer thin sheets for gilding. This leaf is supplied as transfer leaf and each leaf of gold is pressed lightly to a piece of backing paper.
23.75ct gold should not tarnish in most usual decorative applications and should not need to be sealed except in cases where it may be handled or touched.
